Respite service affords the parent(s) and caregivers as well as other family members an opportunity to take care of themselves and have time away from the demands for caring for a son or daughter with developmental disabilities. They can feel safe knowing their son or daughter is safe and well cared for by a trained staff.

Individuals range in age from young children to adults.

Applicants must be willing and available to travel and work in all locations in the Capital District area. Individuals with current or prior experience working with the developmentally disabled population are preferred but not required.

Minimum Qualifications:

* High School Diploma/ GED
* Valid Driver's License
* Vehicle/car insurance (applicant named on policy)
* Criminal Background/ Fingerprint Check
*18 years old or older to provide Respite Service
